About

Silicon Valley Japanese-English Toastmasters (SVJETS) is a bilingual public speaking club for Japanese and English speakers, and a nonprofit organization chartered in December 1990 (Club # 7998, District 4, Area B4).  Whether you need to improve your presentation skills for work or are just looking to brush up on your conversational skills, SVJETS is the best place for both Japanese and English speakers!

Our meetings feature interesting speeches and table topics, where the audience is challenged to answer a question on the spot and a positive learning environment.  Guests are welcome to participate in the table topics sessions, or simply sit back and observe.

We’re a friendly and diverse club, with members ranging from young professionals to the recently retired. Come make new connections with people from all over the Bay Area who are eager to improve their communication and leadership skills.

Please join us at our next meeting, and see how we can help you become a better speaker!
